Most forms of dental sedation, includnig our sedation services, don't render you fully unconscious. You'll typically be deeply relaxed but still able to respond to the dentist if necessary.

For deeper forms of sedation, like oral or IV sedation, you will need someone to drive you home. With nitrous oxide, you may be able to drive yourself, but it's often recommended to have a ride just in case, which Cloverdale Dental Centre offers.
